Group Lessons

Bodyshape

60 minutes

A varied lesson starting with an active warm-up. Followed by part conditional exercises, but mainly giving attention to muscle strengthening exercises. Different materials are used to make this lesson challenging and varied. The lesson ends with a cool down.

Fitness Guidance

45 minutes

An instructor is available during these times for all your questions and advice regarding exercises and workouts. If these hours do not suit you, it is possible to make another appointment free of charge for extra guidance! Leave your name and telephone number or email address at the counter and you will be called back as soon as possible for an appointment

Fitaqua

45 minutes

An active training in the water. And NO, this is certainly not a 50+ lesson by definition! Experience how you can create water resistance yourself and use it during your training. You make it as hard for yourself as you can because you are taught the right techniques. A nice lesson, adaptable to any training level and also very suitable for people with a (temporary) injury and/or training limitation!

Fitpump

60 minutes

A whole class dedicated to muscle strengthening exercises with mainly weights as a training tool. All muscle groups are addressed during this class. Weight lifting is HOT! It is also important and beneficial for muscle building and therefore the overall condition.

Fitcircuit

A group training in the fitness room that partly involves some training equipment. In addition, many free exercises are offered that can be an added value for the training of hardcore fitness fans. Let one of our instructors motivate and inspire you in the fitness room!

fitshape ii

The advanced version of FITshape I. The exercises follow each other in this class at a slightly faster pace. In addition, exercises are offered that may be more challenging in terms of coordination, strength and endurance.

Fittoning

Top Tips

Warming up & cooling down

Make sure you are on time for the lesson! A good warm-up is essential to prevent injuries, because they are aimed at warming up the muscles that are being worked on in the lesson. Cycling from home to the gym or running up the stairs are not part of a proper warm-up. In addition, you do not disturb the instructor and fellow athletes if you are on time. Just like a warm-up, the cooling down, tailored to the lesson, is also important after an intensive training. Give yourself and your body time to relax. If you have to leave early, please let the instructor know in advance.

Sports shoes

It is also important to wear good sports shoes with the right sole to prevent injuries. For questions and advice, you can go to various sports shops in the area and of course also our instructors will be happy to assist.

What clothing should I wear and what do I need when taking a group lesson?

In addition to wearing good footwear, it is certainly important to wear comfortable, breathable and/or moisture-absorbing clothing.
Furthermore, for hygiene reasons, it is mandatory to use a towel during every training session and it is recommended to bring a bottle of water or sports drink (which can be sealed). Both towels and (sports) drinks are available for a fee at the AFC counter.
